Beschreibung: Concerned about her grandmother's failing health, Isabelle boards a plane for Rio de Janeiro. Her grandmother senses Isabelle's loneliness and inhibitions, and suggests that Isabelle join her in the New Year's ritual of Iemanja, a ceremony where millions of Brazilians send their dreams out to sea in the form of a gift to the sea goddess, Iemanja, hoping that she will bless them and make their dreams come true. Isabelle's only offering is her diary. Wrapping her wish in a plastic baggy, she offers it to the whimsical deity. The next thing she knows, it's Carnival and all that she ever dreamed of comes true in one blissful night of wild abandon with a beautiful Brazilian man.
